Ironbeer
12 oz. can 3.92 g sugar / oz. |
History The story of Ironbeer begins in 1917 when the first cases of the fruity soft drink were sold from a mule-drawn wagon at a Havana cafeteria. The drink grew in popularity for many years and became known as the national beverage of Cuba. Nowadays the Ironbeer sold in the U.S. is made by a company in Miami. Review Fruity smelling, a strong tasting drink. Is there a little oil on the surface? Its a peppy drink, its got a kick. This drink is really interesting. Its fruity, with a sweet taste like oranges and a round fruity taste like plums. But I can also taste sour elements and some kind of bitter bite. Its a bit like a fruitier Dr. Pepper or a spicier Vimto.
