History Kassatly Chtaura SAL was established in 1974 by Akram Kassatly in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley. The company first made fruit syrups but later added liquers, soft drinks, wines, and most recently beer to its product line. Brood non-alcoholic malt beverages were introduced in 2007 and are now available in eight fruit flavors. Review A crisp sweet drink. I don't taste the kiwi. It tastes more like an apple cider. Sweet with a little bit of carbonation and a slight sour aftertaste like a rich cider flavor. The malt and hops are providing the sour flavor, but it makes for a rich and refreshing complex beverage. More complex in flavors than most fruit juices. It's a tasty drink for a hot day.
